The cause

Breakthrough is the UK’s leading charity committed to fighting breast cancer through research, campaigning and education. Their essence comes from the thousands of people who are committed to a single vision - to work for a future free from the fear of breast cancer. They campaign for the best possible treatments and services for those affected by breast cancer; through supporting research they work towards a future free from breast cancer and they undertake education on the risk factors, treatment and care of those with breast cancer. I have been raising money for Breakthrough for the past 3 years since my sister in law was diagnosed with breast cancer. Currently I am signed up to their £1,000 challenge with the aim of raising £1,000 in one year and am taking part in the Moonwalk on May 19th/20th To read more about their work please visit their website at www.breakthrough.org.uk

The Prizes

All of the prizes have been generously donated by the wonderful ladies listed – I want to thank every one of them and in particular Natalie at The Yarn Yard who sparked the whole idea of the Prize Draw. She sells a wonderful “Pink Ribbon” yarn from which a donation is made to Breast Cancer charity.

Also, special mention to Noni whose Forget me Not pattern is now on sale and proceeds from which are going to Walk the Walk who support Breakthrough.
