I have made it my mission this week to organise one in Brum.... and I'm not doing too badly at the moment, just have to go and speak to the people in the pub to see if they mind. RE: Socks - from my experience, if you picked up more stitches around the heel it makes the sock feel a lot looser - that would explain the extra pooling too. I do this all the time (mostly because I am too lazy to pick up a pen and write the number down because I think I will remember how many stitches even when I'm not using a pattern) Like the new sock pattern and love the colours (I think it is desert flower btw) I was worried for a minute it might be the same pattern that a secret someone might be sending you soon... but it isn't, thank goodness!!! :0) Horay for you for going to KnitClub!
